Konin Railway Station is a modern facility that combines communication and trade functions, being part of the Integrated Communication and Trade Center Dekada Konin. After years of waiting and modernization, the new station was officially opened on October 27, 2023, replacing the previous building from the 1970s.
History of the station The first railway station in Konin was built in 1926, designed by architect Romuald Miller in a national style reminiscent of a noble manor house. During World War II, the building was damaged, but it was rebuilt in the early 1940s. In 1979, a new, modernist station was opened, which for years was criticized for its aesthetics and functionality.

Rail connections Konin station serves numerous train connections, including to cities such as Warsaw, Poznań, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdynia, Katowice, Łódź and many others. Every day, dozens of trains depart from the station, operated by carriers such as PKP Intercity and Koleje Wielkopolskie.
Location and accessibility The station is located at Kolejowa Street 1 in Konin, in the immediate vicinity of the Dekada shopping center. Thanks to this, passengers have easy access to numerous shops and service points, such as Biedronka, Hebe, Pepco, Empik, Rossmann and RTV Euro AGD.
